Position Summary: Responsible for a specific Mechanical Engineering technical activity. Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design of Inspection Fixtures
- Configuration Management Plans
- Corrosion Prevention and Control Plans
- Technical Documents
- Development of Risk Management Plans
Comply with Quality Management System and Departmental Requirements
- Determine the final disposition of nonconformities if delegated by the Director of Engineering
- TPG-SOP-ENG – Engineering, Technical Documents Standard Operating Procedures
- Company Standard Operating Procedures and General Procedures
- To include active participation in Corrective Action, Preventive Action, and Continuous Improvement processes
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications/requirements: Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements. Fluent in the English language in both written and oral form required. Ability to work independently.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

This position requires use of and access to information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Accordingly, all Mechanical Engineers must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Temporary Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
This position also requires that the Mechanical Engineer be eligible for a government security clearance.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: The minimum requirement for this position is BS + 4 years experience. BS must be from a 4-year degree from an ABET accredited institution. The degree could be in aerospace/aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other related engineering discipline. Proficiency in SolidWorks required.
