Cycle Counter/ Forklift Driver

Job Description


The Inventory Cycle Counter/Forklift Driver is responsible for performing cycle count raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods, compiling and maintaining records of quantity and SKU’s on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

1.      Perform cycle counts in all warehouses.

2.      Ensure materials are in proper locations.

3.      Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervisions.

4.      Recount of items if needed.

5.      Open cartons, bundles and other containers to count items and or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.

6.      Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.

7.      Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

8.      Maintains a safe and clean work area.

9.      Perform other related duties as required and or as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Programs (Excel/Word).
  • Experience in Forklift Driving, Inventory Control, Reconciliation and Cycle Counting.
  • Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
  • Demonstrates ability for precise record keeping.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions (adding, subtracting, multiplications and division).
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Requires sitting or standing for a prolonged period of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Required repetitive movements with fingers, hands and arms.
  • The ability to use a ladder to reach high warehouse shelves.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse under high temperatures and dusty conditions.
