Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing account reconciliations,
journal entries and various month end reports. This person is also
responsible for the completion and accuracy of the bank reconciliations,
payroll allocations and AMEX activity.
Duties and Accountabilities
Prepares various account analysis and
Completes bank reconciliations and researches all
variances to include check logs.
Prepares month-end payroll journal entry and
Review expenses (i.e., insurance, warehouse
supplies, etc.) and allocate amongst business units.
Codes and balances monthly Amex charges.
Assist with providing information for company
annual audits (Annual, Tax, 401K, etc.).
Runs required month-end reports and files
according to document retention guidelines.
Ensures completeness of subsidiary company records.

Prepares various journal entries for month end
auditing back-up for account payable checks.

- Bachelor’s Degree in

years of experience in general accounting.
