Job Description


The Golf Cart Driver/ Facilities Helper is primarily for driving a multi-passenger golf cart for daily routes, with the addition of light production and errand work required throughout the day. Ensures and documents safety checks daily before the operation of the golf cart. Reports maintenance needs as needed. Provides very good customer service to the passengers. Runs errands and makes deliveries as needed. Also, this person is responsible for keeping the building clean and in orderly condition. This person helps to ensure everything is available and operating properly for building occupants to perform their work.


Essential Duties and Accountabilities


1.      Responsible for cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.

2.      Transports employees and guests to and from areas throughout the property.

3.      Ensures the proper use and storage of golf carts after each shift.

4.      Assists with other duties as necessary.

5.      Observe and report suspicious activities and persons

6.      Must have open availability and a strong sense of urgency

7.      Responsible for gathering and emptying trash and operating trash and cardboard compactor.

8.      Clean windows and mirrors, polish and dust furniture.

9.      Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies either manually or by using a hand truck.

10.  Change light bulbs.

11.  Assists in maintaining the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

12.  Assists in painting and carpentry needs.

13.  Assists in assembly of furniture, logistic supplies and racking systems.

14.  Maintain a safe environment for building occupants.

15.  Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

16.  Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.

  • Valid state Driver’s License.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service oriented manner.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. This requires driving during various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, strong winds, etc.).
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Requires climbing, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrist, and arms. 
  • Requires willingness to work outdoors under varying climate conditions.
