Job Description

Summary

Sales ATG is responsible for collaborating with Sales Representatives in their assigned region to support sales efforts. This person is also responsible for personally managing some accounts and bids.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities  

1.      Works closely with PBE Sales Representatives on a daily basis supporting sales

2.      Provides product sheets and specifications upon request to customers

3.      Monitors bid postings. 

4.      Will perform Cold call, tradeshow, traveling demonstrations to drive sales

5.      Delivers technical PowerPoint presentations and equipment demonstrations without a sales engineering support.

6.      Reviews bid requirements and summarizes for management.

7.      Follows up with Customers as needed from proposal/bid to order.

8.      Works with Customer Service personnel to ensure accuracy of orders.

9.      Independently manages sales accounts

10.  Submits sample requests and follow them through the order entry and production process.

11.  Routinely works directly with distributors and end users in support of sales efforts.

12.  Works with production personnel to expedite orders when necessary.

13.  Monitors custom orders from engineering through production, assembly and shipping to verify end user requirements for product and timeframes are met.

14.  Anticipates potential problems with orders and works to avoid them.

15.  Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

16.  Maintains a safe and clean work area.

17.  Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of five (5)+ years sales experience.
  • Previous law enforcement/military or in using or selling video surveillance or similar equipment experience a plus
  • Proficient in operating various word-processing software, spreadsheets and database programs.
  • Strong computer skills. Networking and surveillance related experience a plus.
  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
  • Ability to work independently, find solutions to problems, interact directly with Customers while maintaining a positive impression of the Company at all times.
  • Effective technical writing skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Must read, write and understand Basic English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Requires sitting for a prolonged period of time.
  • Requires dexterity and coordination to handle files, boxes and materials.
  • Requires minimum reaching for items above and below desk level.
  • Requires strength, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.

§  Requires walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted.

§  Requires repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrist, and arms.

  • Requires traveling up to 3 weeks a month.
