Marketing Intern---PBE employee & temps dependent children

Job Description

          Help plan and implement PBE’s participation in commercial, military, federal, SOCOM and international trade shows, exhibitions, and special events.


Essential Duties and Accountabilities

-          Assist in all pre-event, event, and post-event activities

-          Obtain contracts, floor plans, show schedule, hotel information for tradeshows and complete all necessary forms to register for exhibit space

-          Register sales reps for exhibitor badges

-          Help assess exhibit signage requirements, determine marketing collateral needs

-          Assist in the development of new presentation materials needed according to type of show, attendee demographics and products to be promoted

-          Work with vendors to ensure timely purchase and delivery of show items (i.e. ordering carpet, furniture, cleaning services, etc.) 

-          Enter product sample orders through customer service in a timely manner to ensure appropriate/accurate representation of products for each show


  • Should be a good team player and ability to implement creative ideas with good leadership qualities
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and ability to maintain a healthy atmosphere in the team
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all kinds of people
  • Ability to think critically and take necessary decisions for business
  • Effective project management skills and ability to meet the deadlines



  • Expertise in copy writing, creating power point presentations, handling Excel and Word documents and working with Outlook Express

Physical Demands and Working Conditions


Light to mid labor required for picking up transport items
