Job Description

Summary

The Sample Supervisor will oversees Sample Cage operations and the staff. 

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

1.       Maintain accurate storage and inventory of samples, keeping inventory updated in a daily basis.

2.       Compare and verify precision of all samples in the cage versus original design and notify managers of discrepancies.

3.       Verify accuracy of PPAP samples and Subcontractors samples, comparing them against trim sheet, master sample, BOM, patterns, and product release.

4.       Responsible to coordinate with all Subcontractors the validation of all samples coming in or samples sent for production.

5.       Create and maintain reports as requested with sample information to be distributed to different departments.

6.       Responsible to work with QC department in the samples validation process to resolve differences and correct mistakes.

7.       Diligently and immediate response to customer requirements attending with details and sense of urgency.

8.       Coordinate staff workflow to meet department goals.

    Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards. Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.

    Qualifications

    §  High School Diploma or its equivalent. Able to understand and communicate in English.

    §  Proficient in Excel. Experience working with metrics and materials.

    §  Required knowledge in all PBE products: carriers, crossovers, tacticals, including MOD’s and plates; shapes and codes.

    §  Vision and Jesta knowledge.

    §  Experience with trim sheet, BOM, product release and patterns required.

    §  Must be authorized to work in the USA.

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions

    §  Requires standing or sitting for a prolonged period of time and lifting up to 40lbs.
