Job Title:  QUALITY ASSURANCE DATA ENTRY CLERK

Department/Location:    Quality Control

Reports To:   Quality Control Foreperson

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Data Entry Clerk shall verify accuracy of identification and traceability data in electronic production records and inspection reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Ø  Review electronic production and quality traveler (id & traceability) records to ensure all fields are complete and with accurate data;

Ø  Gather and obtain information that is missing in electronic or hard copy records;

o   If data is missing or unclear, the Clerk must interact with Production Leads and Supervisors and Quality Control Leads and Supervisors to acquire data that is needed.

Ø  Perform corrections on electronic and/or hard copy production and quality records;

Ø  Must be able to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in data;

Ø  Generate reports;

Ø  Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry;

Ø  Maintain hard copy documents in sequential order as required;

Ø  Perform data entry activities;

Ø  Review and analyze data on inspection reports; and

Ø  Store completed electronic and hard copy documents in designated locations.

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications/requirements: This position requires an extremely detailed oriented person. Employee must be fluent in the English language in written and oral form; bilingual in the Spanish language required. Employee needs to be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Employee needs to have the ability to work under pressure, multi task, and have exceptional organizational skills to keep up with production goals. Must be able to generate, read, and analyze reports. 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:  Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.

Compliance with all personnel policies.

This position requires use of and access to information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  Accordingly, all Quality Assurance Data Entry Clerks must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Temporary Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Education/Training/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year administrative experience in the capacity of Data Entry or Document Control required; experience in manufacturing and/or quality control preferred.

Work usually performed in a production floor. May work at different workstations to include office areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, unless otherwise noted by safety signage.
