PBE- Cage Sample Assistant (Pompano Beach, FL)

Job Description


The Cage Sample Assistant is responsible for supporting the Sample Department in proper storing and distribution of samples to Production, as well as to make sure accuracy of Samples and ally other task assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

1.      Verify accuracy of certified samples. Follow up on sample revisions.

2.      Communicates with R&D if a pattern and/or sample issue is detected.

3.      Keep Sample storage organized every day. Update the systems (vision/sample inventory) daily

4.      Provide to the sample maker everything needed to create and repair samples.

5.      Release samples in a timely manner.

6.      Request Past Due Samples.

7.      Follow up on sample returns and update the system.

8.      Register any issues found with PPAP, master samples, patterns and related documents.

9.      Create tags for samples.

10.  Make markers when needed.

11.  Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

12.  Maintain a safe and clean work area.

13.  Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

§  High School Diploma or its equivalent.

§  Proficient in Excel, intermediate level; able to create spreadsheets, graphics and pivot tables.

§  Must speak English.

§  Knowledgeable in trim sheets, patterns, product release and BOM’s.

§  Must know U.S. metric system (inches, etc.).

§  Must know PBE Body Armor portfolio.

§  Must be authorized to work in the USA.
