Title: WAREHOUSE & Inventory control
To: VP of Operations
Position Summary: Responsible
for all inventory-related operations and transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Using the Company
ERP system, and the physical locations, the Warehouse & Inventory Control Foreperson
all materials and components;
compliance with TPG’s Receiving Procedure [TPG-SOP-RECEIVING];
the necessary transactions to store materials, physically and in the
materials and components for Production Orders, move and transact them to
Finished Goods to customers, as required;
compliance with TPG’s Shipping Procedure [TPG-SOP-SHIPPING];
all necessary transactions to account for materials and components;
physical warehousing locations clean and organized at all times in
compliance with TPG’s FOD Prevention Procedure [TPG-SOP-FOD];
inventory information to the Planning Team;
routine cycle counts;
FIFO and monitor shelf life requirements;
files and all Customer Property documents in compliance with TPG’s
Customer Property Procedure [TPG-SOP-CUSTPROPERTY];
special storage conditions product list up to date to include disposition of
expired materials in compliance with TPG’s Preservation of Product
all drop ship orders in the system;
all outbound freight with approved broker;
work load for warehouse employees;
daily email communication of what is received in the warehouse throughout
Kanban items within approved levels;
Notify Buyers when Kanban levels are low, so
that they can be replenished.
Buyers when consumables are running low;
daily report of plates and shields shipped; and
proper work environment is maintained in the warehouse to include
appropriate temperature and lighting conditions.
Document Control & Reporting
Adhere to General Procedure Requirements
Document, Respond, and take timely action on
corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement proposals.
Facilitate for timely completions on internal
Safety & Security
Ensure compliance Safety Policies and Practices in
the Warehouse area.
Responsible for Forklift safety in the Warehouse
as per TPG’s Powered Industrial Truck Safety Program.
Ensure proper storage of flammable and corrosive
materials as per TPG’s Hazard Communication Program [TPG-SAFE-05].
Ensure compliance with Security Policies and
Practices in the Warehouse area.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

working knowledge of MS Office. Capable of acquiring forklift certification
within 30 days of placement. High energy individual, self driven with high
level of discipline and organization. Must have good understanding of accounting
principles and materials processes.

High School graduate with 10 years of Warehouse/Inventory experience
with at least 5 years supervisory. Accounting education is preferable.
