Summary
The Quality Team Leader is responsible for demonstrating
leadership skills within their assigned area. Also, works to ensure all daily
production goals are accomplished.
Essential Duties
·
Responsible for assisting with daily production
goals and ensuring department production is complete timely and effectively.
·
Responsible for inspecting finished goods
received from production
·
Inspects dimensional, color, pattern match, and
craft workmanship of all final production products.
·
Interprets company policies to workers and
enforces safety regulations.
·
Works closely with the Quality Supervisor to
assist and ensure employees follow company policies and health and safety guidelines.
·
Interprets specifications and job orders to
workers and assigns duties.
·
Knowledgeable in all areas of the QA Department
including, but not limited to: Incoming, Cutting (Spreading, Layup, Area of
Coverage), In Process Inspection (Ballistic In-Line, Ballistic After Tacking,
Ballistic Insert, Ballistic Panel Final, Carrier/Yoke Inspection), and the
Final Audit Process.

Backup person when the supervisor is absent.
·
Diligently attends to details and pursues
quality in accomplishing tasks.
·
Responsible for working according to the
company’s safety and quality standards.
·
Maintains a safe and clean work area.
·
Performs other related duties as required and or
as assigned.
Qualifications
·
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
·
Able to understand basic work and safety
instructions in English.
·
Regular and predictable attendance is an
essential function for this position.
·
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
·
Requires sitting or standing for a prolonged
period of time.
·
Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling,
and lifting up to 20 lbs.
·
Requires repetitive movements with fingers,
hands, wrist, and arms.
·
Requires good vision, arm-hand steadiness, and
manual dexterity.
