Job Description


The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that production supervisors accomplish production goals and objectives. Also, responsible for ensuring products meets and exceeds the company quality standards.


Essential duties and accountabilities

1.  Ensures that production goals are accomplished in accordance to the company quality standards.

2.  Makes certain that assigned production supervisors departments manufacture products in a timely, effective, and in accordance to the company quality standards.

3.  Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products by reviewing data.

4.  Works closely with the VP of Operations to assist and ensure employees follow company policies and health and safety guidelines.

5.  Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

6.  Implements existing production standards and makes adjustments as necessary to produces products within specifications.

7.  Tracks labor hours and manages overtime 

8. Supervises and motivates production supervisors, as well as conducts employee    performance reviews, identifies required training needs, and issue corrective actions based on employees’ performance and productivity.

9. Maintains a safe and clean work area.

10.Performs additional duties as necessary and or required.

    High School Diploma or its equivalent. Minimum 2 plus years experience in supervision of production staff, working with quality, maintenance, and plant management on a daily basis. Sewing, Fabric, and or textile manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred. Minimum (2) two to (5) five years experience in a related role or in an apparel manufacturing environment. Problem solving skills and an ability to work on a tactical and strategic level. Ability to use computer software and applications. Ability to motivate others, delegate work, and explain ideas. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position. Ability to work in a team environment. Must read, write, and understand English. Must be authorized to work in the USA.

    §  Requires sitting or standing for a prolonged period of time.

    §  The ability to lift up to 20lbs.
