The BOM (Bill of
Material) Coordinator is responsible for creating, modifying and maintaining
product codes and bills of materials for body armor products. This person will
convert data received from various departments into the required format for
entry/scanning into the ERP system.
Duties and Accountabilities
Prepares codes and BOMs for products based upon data received from
Engineering, Purchasing, Sales,
Marketing, Marker Room, Contracts and others.
Creates additional color and fabric codes by processing CFAR’s.
Coordinates with the Engineering Support Supervisor, Designers and other
team members by identifying data required and informing them of missing data
needed to complete projects.
Maintains records for ongoing projects and provides progress reports as
Reviews new code and BOMs to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to
Creates, maintains and modifies product release forms and manages the
storage of the forms.
Completes projects based on priorities set by the Engineering Support
