Job Description


The Accumark Product Engineer is capable of working within a dynamic group to meet project goals and timelines. The person in this position must be well organized, detail oriented, and have the flexibility to handle multiple project assignments.

Essential Functions 

1.       This position is responsible for coordinating the production of Garment Samples and ensuring they meet the specifications provided.

2.       Modifying Garment/Clothing patterns in AccuMark based on feedback from production.

3.       Nesting for operations and costing analysis.

4.       Plans, organizes, and coordinates workload to achieve objectives.

5.       Collects, reads, interprets and sees related reference documents and drawings prepares by other disciplines, vendors or outside sources. A

6.       Assist others with production issues or designs.

7.       Helps others collect or deliver design and engineering data at job sites or client offices.

8.       Frequent contact and interaction with production, purchasing, and direct supervisor

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 25 pounds.  This position can involve sitting for various periods of time, and also requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching throughout the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary at times.


Travel may be required to manufacturing facilities in the Caribbean to provide product support. Other opportunities to travel are available.

Required Education and Experience

Preferred experience in the garment/clothing industry in pattern work, grading, nesting and reading tech packs.

·       High school diploma and/or related associates degree in engineering or specific discipline and two years’ experience; or related experience and/or training specialized in drafting, design, and engineering practices; or Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

·       Ability to read and interpret documents.

·       Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

·       Fluent in Spanish a plus.

·       Sewing manufacturing - industry experience.

·       Experience working with multiple discipline projects.

·       Excellent computer skills in AccuMark.

·       Organizational skills, communication proficiency, initiative, thoroughness, and time management

·       Must be able to work in the U.S.
