INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Reports To: Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for
supporting the execution of general and preventive maintenance of facilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform the required repairs and preventive
maintenance on equipment and plant facilities as required;
Assist in the coordination of equipment
installation, analysis of equipment failures, and determination of necessary
adjustments and/or repairs;
in the coordination of all activities related to the installation of new
equipment at the facility and coordinating and scheduling with outside
contractors for necessary preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections; and
repair and inspections to facilities and equipment as required.
§ Outside Contractors
in obtaining certificates of insurance prior to the commencement of any work at
contractors are aware of TPG safety and security policies, and ensure they work
within those guidelines;
in consulting with contractors on required PPE for work to be performed and
make arrangements for PPE that will be provided by the Company and PPE that
shall be required from the contractor; and

Lock Out Tag Out: Support the
implementation of the Company’s Lock Out Tag Out program. The maintenance
department shall work with production, warehouse, NPD, and quality team members
to ensure that all employees are protected from injuries while equipment is
being serviced or maintained; and
Machine Guarding & Anchoring: Ensure
all equipment is properly guarded and anchored per OSHA requirements.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is
responsible for maintaining legible, accurate, and easily retrievable records
of all preventive maintenance, installations, and repairs.

Qualifications/requirements: The Maintenance Technician must be
able to communicate in the English language in both oral and written form. The
Technician must have knowledge on proper hand tool use and proper material
handling while performing duties. Must be forklift certified within 30 days of

Education/Training/Experience: High School diploma
or equivalent; training is derived from working 3+ years in maintenance and/or
manufacturing with production machine experience.
Maintenance Technicians shall have experience in maintenance related to complex
systems and equipment to include a minimum of five years of experience and
familiarity with maintenance-related metrics. The Senior Maintenance Technician
shall also have working knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems, basic
computing skills, and be able to instruct and oversee work for a team of 3-6
