Essential Duties
and Accountabilities:
Responsible for requirements oversight, development, implementation and management on all programs within The Protective Group (TPG); Familiarity with both document based and model based system engineering (MBSE) philosophies; Familiarity with defense related system specifications (i.e. DO-160, DO-180, etc.) Experience with the DESIGN REVIEW INFORMATION PACKAGE (DRIP) Develop documentation in support of customer requirements i.e. DID, corresponding sequence number/ Task Order and SDRLs/CDRLs; Ability to participate in bid and proposal process (i.e. identify and verify submission compliance and generate Basis of Estimates and System Specifications); Responsible for evolving, emerging and requirements change awareness, knowledge, interpretation and management; Responsible for requirements management and requirements tracking for design, qualification and production efforts and should have a working knowledge of DOORS or similar requirements tracking software; Other responsibilities may include limited travel in support of efforts, proposals and installations, trouble shooting, technical support, planned and unplanned systems upgrades, configuration management, and documentation development; Ability to author, develop systems level analysis supporting design and qualification; Interface with Mechanical and Structures Engineers on a regular basis; Interface with internal and external resources in support of plans and activities; Manage requirements and decompose subject requirements into their respective components; Ability to author, develop and implemental departmental/corporate procedures; Develop and maintain Internal and External Interface Control Documents; Develop, generate and execute test plans in support of program validation and verification; Develop Validation Reports in support of ballistic lab testing; Develop Technical Reports in support of department initiatives; Coordinate projects by monitoring and maintaining Gate process and schedules; Availability to traveling to support to off-site meetings/events to represent the program as required. Participate in organizational planning and contribute insights, knowledge and experience to improve internal efficiencies, ensure customer satisfaction and preserve and advance TPG’s position in a highly competitive Threat Protection market space. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

position also requires that the Systems Engineer be eligible for, and can
maintain, a government security clearance.
