Job Title Snap Machine Operator

Reports to Production Supervisor/Mini-Company President


Summary

The Snap Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tending to the snap machine and ensuring the snap machine performs various specialized duties.


Essential Duties and Accountabilities

1.            Responsible for loading the appropriate components and parts into the feeding hopper.

2.            Maintains the snap machine and ensures the machine is lined up with the pre-punched hole and the laser beam.

3.            Conducts snap operating machine by pressing the pedal to punch the snap through the material.

4.            Responsible for meeting the daily production goals and objectives.

5.            Responsible for working according to company’s safety and quality standards.

6.            Maintains a safe and clean work area.

7.            Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • No minimum education is required.
  • Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Requires sitting or standing for a prolonged period of time.
  • Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • May be required to wear hearing protection when machines are running due to sufficient noise.

Hourly rate: $9.00
