Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing
the Company’s product sales in a defined territory. Responsibilities include
but are not limited to developing sales development plans for revenue/margin
growth; making customer presentations; working with customers to ensure sizing
occurs for ballistic vests, uniforms, other products; provides product
information; tracks shipments; answers inquiries about delivery of orders or
returns; may assist with customer collections. This person is also responsible
for selecting and managing distributors in the territory, training
distributors, assisting with displays in retail outlets and promoting the
Company brand. Sales Representatives shall conduct presentations and product
demonstrations to customers in the defined territory.
Essential Duties &
Accountabilities:

Responsible

presentations of the Company products to Distributors and End Users.
3.
Plan
for contacting and meeting with key personnel on a weekly, monthly and
quarterly basis to insure all accounts are communicated with regularly

Communicates
effectively with customers, end-users and other employees.
5.
Completes
Special Engineering requests to meet customer and company requirements.
6.
Selects
and manages distributors to promote Company products in the defined territory.
7.
Generates
interest and promotes Company products to Distributors and End Users in the
defined territory.
8.
Prepares
written quotes and establishes distributor pricing within the approved
guidelines.
9.
Trains
distributors and personnel on Company products.
10. Maintains working
knowledge of competitor products, markets in the defined territory and develops
market strategy.
11. Completes all
required reports, such as travel request and vision opportunities. Submits in a
timely manner.

13. Provides
Company management with information that will promote sales growth such as
annual sales plan.
14. Monitors
bids and request for proposals in the defined territory.
15. Responsible
for State contracts if any applicable in the defined territory.
16. Maintains database of status with Distributors, End
Users and potential customers as well as continuing to build on those
relationships.
Position Requirements:
- Public Safety
product knowledge and/or experience required
Complete
understanding of the NIJ Body Armor standards
Experience
with firearms and ballistic applications (hard or soft armor)
High School
Diploma or its equivalent.
Must be able
to communicate fluently in the defined territory.
Advanced
reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
Ability to
read and interpret documents and Company procedures.
Ability to
develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to
work with limited supervision.
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills.
Requires a
valid state Driver’s License.
Regular and
predictable attendance is an essential function for this position.
Must read,
write and speak fluent English.
Must be
authorized to work in the USA.
