PBE- Sample Analyst

Job Description


The Sample Analyst is responsible for supporting the Sample Department in proper storage and distribution of samples at the Company as well as supporting department processes, such as Product Gateway Review, Sub-Contractors Samples review, between others.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

Verify accuracy of company’s samples before Floor Production or Sub-contractors use them for production purposes, throughout the Product Gateway Revision Process.

Communicates with R&D to resolve all inconsistencies found in Sample Revision and create ECR’s as needed, feeding the log.

Fulfil all reports and forms related to Product Gateway Review for samples and PPAP’s.

Other responsibilities:

Samples Inventory Control and system update processes.

Follow up every step on samples repair and QC validation

Review PPAP, master samples, patterns and related documents Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned by Supervisor and / or Manager

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Samples Review Process, QC guidelines, PBE Commercial portfolio, measurement system, patterns, TRIM, BOM, Product Release, Vision system.
  • Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Requires standing or sitting for a prolonged period of time and lifting up to 40lbs.
