Summary

The Domestic and International Law Enforcement Sales position is the lead sales person for our Advanced Technology Group (ATG), a division of Point Blank Enterprises, Inc. This person will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities in the local, state, federal and international law enforcement markets, as well as the US Department of Defense. The sales position requires travel to visit, demonstrate and interact with existing and potential customers.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

1.      Works directly in the field with customers to perform production demonstrations and sales activities.

2.      Conducts sales activities in person, via webinar and through trade shows and events with potential customers.

3.      Identify, coordinate and attend/setup industry events, tradeshows and other sales events.

4.      Extensive travel required to conduct sales efforts, demos and meeting with existing and potential customers.

5.      Has the ability to articulate the benefits of the products/solutions from a technical perspective.

6.      Prepares and delivers quotes and proposals.

7.      Provides product sheets and specifications upon request.

8.      Monitors bid postings.  

9.      Reviews bid requirements and summarizes for management.

10.  Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products and services

11.  Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

12.  Follows up with Customers as needed from proposal/bid to order.

13.  Independently manages accounts.

14.  Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors

15.  Monitors customer orders from engineering through production, assembly and shipping to verify end user requirements for product and timeframes are met.

16.  Anticipates potential problems with orders and works to avoid them.

17.  Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

18.  Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years sales experience in the field of surveillance and technology within the

U.S. Military and/or law enforcement.   

  • Proficient in operating various word-processing software, spreadsheets and database programs.
  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
  • Ability to work independently, find solutions to problems, interact directly with Customers while maintaining a positive impression of the Company at all times.
  • Effective technical writing skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Must read, write and understand English.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Must be a US Citizen.  

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Requires sitting for a prolonged period of time.
  • Requires dexterity and coordination to handle files, boxes and materials.
  • Requires minimum reaching for items above and below desk level.
  • Requires strength, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.

§  Requires walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted.

§  Requires repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrist, and arms.

§  This position requires frequent travel

§  This position requires the setup/tear down of trade show booths as needed.
