Essential Duties
and Accountabilities
1.
Works directly in the field with customers to
perform production demonstrations and sales activities.
2.
Conducts sales activities in person, via webinar and
through trade shows and events with potential customers.
3.
Identify, coordinate and attend/setup industry
events, tradeshows and other sales events.
4.
Extensive travel required to conduct sales efforts,
demos and meeting with existing and potential customers.
5.
Has the ability to articulate the benefits of the
products/solutions from a technical perspective.
6.
Prepares and delivers quotes and proposals.
7.
Provides product sheets and specifications upon
request.
8.
Monitors bid postings.
9.
Reviews bid requirements and summarizes for management.
10. Maintains
communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new
products and services
11. Follow industry
trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
12. Follows up with
Customers as needed from proposal/bid to order.
13. Independently
manages accounts.
14. Monitor market
conditions in relation to competitors
15. Monitors customer
orders from engineering through production, assembly and shipping to verify
end user requirements for product and timeframes are met.
16. Anticipates
potential problems with orders and works to avoid them.
17. Responsible for
working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
18. Performs other
related duties as required and assigned.
