Summary
The Inventory Control Data Entry is responsible
for supporting the Inventory Control Department in all administrative and
inventory assignments.
Duties
1.
Maintains
and updates all inventory system information to ensure accuracy.
2.
Records
and documents inventory transactions.
3.
Responsible
for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
4.
Maintains
a safe and clean work area.
5.
Performs
other related duties as required and or as assigned.
6.
Collects
and calculates data from the Cutting Department.
7.
Comprehends
Verifying Markers vs. Cut tickets.
8.
Maintains
and updates all inventory system information to ensure accuracy.
9.
Knowledgeable
in compositions, ballistic packages, and quality (NCR).
10.
Analyzes
production request requirements and issues either the request or the materials
already cut (Saving Program.)
11. Understands
Commercial and Military consumptions and step receipts.
12. Attention
to Detail.
13. Performs inventory transfers and adjustments using
inventory control system.
14.
Performs
transaction for material sales.
15.
Analyzes
and processes the data coming from the cutting tables through the system.
16.
Analyzes
history and process transactions accordingly.
Qualifications
- High School
Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must read,
write, and understand English.
- Must be able
to perform mathematical functions (adding, subtracting, multiplication and
divison).
- Must be
authorized to work in the USA.
- Proficient in
Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Extensive
computer knowledge.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Physical Demands
and Working Conditions
- Requires
standing for a prolonged period of time and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Requires
repetitive movements with fingers, hands and arms.
- Ability to
use a ladder to reach high warehouse shelves.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse under high
temperatures and dusty conditions.
