Position Summary: The
FSO & ITPSO has the primary responsibility, on an ongoing basis, for
overall compliance with and implementation of the Facility Security Procedure, Controlled
Unclassified Information (CUI) Procedure, OPSEC Plans, Insider Threat Program,
and the requirements of the 32 CFR Part 117, National
Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Rule). The FSO & ITPSO
is also responsible for supporting compliance with the System Security Plan for
Unclassified and Classified Information Systems. The FSO & ITPSO shall be
responsible for implementing security requirements in a process-oriented manner
and structure the Security Program to be embedded within company culture and
business practices as guided by the Senior Management Official (SMO).
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Establish,
implement, and ensure compliance with Facility Security Procedure which details
facility clearance program requirements as per the NISPOM Rule.
§
Personnel
Security Clearances (PCL) – Responsible for processing PCL applications and
maintaining accurate PCL records in DISS.
§
Maintain accurate
and up-to-date records and accessibility in USG IS: DISS, NISS, STEPP, & NCAISS.
§
Responsible for
complying with classification management requirements enforced by the NISPOM
Rule.
§
Maintain Classified
Data Management.
§
Transmission of Classified
Material.
§
Contractual Security
Requirements Communication & Training SMO & KMP.

NATO Briefings.
§

Qualifications & requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in similar role.
- Experience in the defense industry preferred to
include knowledge on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS), Defense Federal
Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and security-related regulatory requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate in oral
and written form in English; able to effectively communicate in Spanish.
- Must be able to interpret regulatory and contractual
requirements and effectively present and communicate requirements throughout
the Organization.
- Must have the ability to travel.
- Security Classification.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to
safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the
ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting
qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability
to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other
federal, state and local standards.
Compliance
with all personnel policies.
This position requires
use of and access to information which is subject to the International Traffic
in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Accordingly,
all Facility Security Officers must be U.S. persons within the meaning of
ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S.
Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Temporary Resident, Political
Asylee, or Refugee.
This position also requires
that the Facility Security Officer & Insider Threat Program Senior Official
be a citizen of the United States, and be eligible for a government security
clearance.
