Summary:

The Team Leader is responsible for demonstrating leadership skills within their assigned area. This person also works to ensure all daily production goals are accomplished. 

Essential Duties and Accountabilities 

1.     Responsible for assisting with daily production goals and ensuring department production is complete timely and effectively.

2.     Identify discrepancies in Trim Sheet, Product Release, BOM, Patterns and Master Sample and work with Design Team to resolve.

3.     Make sure PPAP items are manufactured under PPAP requirements and accurately.

4.     Provide data of manufacturing progress to Supervisor.

5.     Resolve trim, markers and cutting problems and delays with respectively departments.

6.     Train, support and assign tasks to sewers according with individual strengths to avoid mistakes and delays.

7.     Support and interprets specifications and job orders to sewers and reinforce them during manufacturing process of the PPAP items.

8.   Work closely with QC Inspector to assure quality and accuracy in manufacturing PPAP items.

 Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and or its equivalent.
  • Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
  • Knowledge on manufacturing products and processes and have leadership skills.
  • Must be a sewer level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Requires sitting and standing for a prolonged period of time.
  • Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted
