Position Summary:
Ensure all manufacturing personnel are trained
for the operations they are performing, ensure compliance with manufacturing
processes, and provide support in the generation and collection of data to
support manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain Employee Training Matrix for manufacturing
areas;
- Confirm training requirements
for upcoming production orders and generate training plan accordingly;
- Conduct initial and refresher
training for employees as required;
- Review implementation and
application of trained activities; conduct follow-up training with employees
when comprehension and application deficiencies are noted;
- Ensure manufacturing
activities are carried as instructed in work instruction and related
documentation. Report discrepancies to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Ensure all process records
are being completed with accurate information, and that all fields, to include
signature blocks, are completed as required;
Safety Compliance
- Use chemicals,
adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and inks, as instructed, with
the Personal Protective Equipment required by the organization.
- Maintain the work area
and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety
regulations.
- Only use equipment as
instructed, and do not modify equipment or machine guarding.
- Monitor daily manufacturing
outputs and compare them with production schedule requirements;
- Prepare and maintain
production information boards;
- Analyze labor module hours,
and prepare edits and reports as required; and
- Analyze processes with Process
Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager and VP of Operations for possible
improvements.
- Other
duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications/requirements:
Must be fluent in the English language in both
written and oral form; bi-lingual in Spanish language also required. Must have
experience and be capable to read technical documents; drawings,
specifications, manuals. Must be computer literate, to include MS Office. Must
have strong communication and decision making skills, must work well under
pressure and attaining production schedules.

Qualifications/requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform essential
job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local
standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity
standards.
Ability
to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other
federal, state and local standards.
May
be required to work daily overtime and occasional weekends.
Compliance
with all personnel policies.
This position requires use of and access to
information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
(ITAR). Accordingly, all Process
Compliance Leads must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S.

Regularly
required to stand, and move about the facility. Regularly required to perform
physical work with hands during entire shift. The employee must regularly lift
and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and

Work usually performed in a production floor. May
work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one
station to another, during the assembly process. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate, unless otherwise noted by safety signage.
Education/Training/Experience:
High School level education or equivalent;
minimum 5 years experience working in the manufacturing industry in a group
leader position or equivalent. Experience working with for an ISO 9001/AS9100
certified company preferred.
