Summary
The Marker Maker Apprentice is responsible for
registering completed and checked markers in the marker room status log. Also, is
expected to be able to process all markers with the goal of maximizing fabric.
Essential Duties
and Accountabilities
1.
Ensures
marker making is completed efficiently.
2.
Enters
marker orders in the AccuMark system.
3.
Processes
cutting tickets and stamp received on the tickets.
4.
Photo
copy cutting tickets and file as required.
5.
Apply
fabric widths based on given charts.
6.
Communicates
effectively with Plotter Operator.
7.
Diligently
attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.
8.
Responsible
for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
9.
Maintains
a safe and clean work area.
10. Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications
- High
School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Able
to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office Software.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
Physical Demands
and Working Conditions
Requires sitting for a
prolonged period of time.
Requires
dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper.
Requires
occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Requires
minimum reaching for items above and below desk level.Requires strength, coordination and vision to use
keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods
