Social Media Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding
KPI’s and defining them specifically for social media
- Collaborating
with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns.
- Research
audience preferences and discover current trends.
- Monitor
all social media content.
- Create
engaging text, image, and video content.
- Design
posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products.
- Measure
web traffic and monitor SEO.
- Develop an
optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement
metrics.
- Stay up to
date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
- Track the
performance of the campaign.
- Train
co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.
- Facilitate
online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
- Report on
online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
- Oversee
social media accounts’ layout.
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions
and competitions.
Requirements and Skills
- 1-3 Years of
experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
- Experience
with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- BS degree in Marketing, New media, or relevant field
- Experience
with Adobe Creative Cloud (photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media
editing tools is a plus.
- Excellent
written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be
able to interact and communicate effectively with all departments.
- Must be
self-directed and reliable in planning and completion of tasks.
- Detail-oriented,
highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously.
- Proven
work experience as a social media coordinator
- Expertise
in multiple social media platforms
- In-depth
knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to
deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Familiarity
with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to
gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
- Multitasking
and analytical skills
