Department: Quality Control

The Quality Data Entry is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and input daily in the database all forms from all quality inspection forms. The person will review the data for accuracy of content and completeness

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
  • Verify data and correct data where necessary.
  • Obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files, and forms.
  • Generate statistical reports based on maintained data on a periodic basis.
  • Scan documents into document management systems or databases
  • Check completed work for accuracy.
  • Print information when required.
  • Cross train in Create DCR, Work Instructions, Calibration Functions and Build sheet Control.
  • Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or its Equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Good working use of the computer.
  •  Able to determine errant formulas and errant sets of data.  
  • Must be adept in the use of MS Office 2010 or later, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ideally Access or a similar database. Proficient use of the internet and email.
  • Good knowledge of the requirements for the products being manufactured.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Team working ability.
  • Must be a US Person

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sitting for long periods. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting of items weighing up to twenty-five pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference, and other materials. Moving from place to place within the office; minimum reaching for items above and below desk level. Strength, dexterity, coordination, and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.
