POSITION SUMMARY:
First Tactical is looking for a skilled and experienced Human Resources
Specialist to join our team! As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be
responsible for supporting our HR department in the development and execution
of HR strategy, policies, and objectives.
HR Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Managing
all HR procedures
- Identifying company’s hiring needs
and managing the recruitment process, which includes coordinating job
posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks.
- Providing
information to employees regarding benefits, insurance, and retirement
plan.
- Preparing or updating employment
records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
- Managing
all employee data in HRIS
Updating
employee records
- Developing
and evaluating onboarding plans
- Providing
support for employee administration and processing issues
- Ensuring
compliance with all legal requirements
- Explaining human resources policies,
procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
- Ensuring new hire paperwork is
completed and processed.
- Conduct orientation of new employees
and handle employee concerns by liaising between the management and staff
of an organization
- Update employee records with new
hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Addressing any
employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment
allegations.
- Processing all personnel action
forms and ensuring proper approval
- Plan quarterly and annual performance review
sessions.
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout
the organization.
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a
timely manner.Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in
labor legislation.
- Other duties assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR, SPHR or payroll specific
certification, preferred.
- Master’s degree in human resource
management or related field, preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR
Specialist
- Proficient with computers and
Microsoft Office Applications
- Superior attention to detail
Proven track record of maintaining
employee confidentiality.
- Expert with various HRIS
applications
Strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management skill
Ability to work well in a team
environment.
- Experience with payroll systems
Able to work under pressure with
strict deadlines.
