Position
Summary: The Accountant is responsible for preparing account
reconciliations, journal entries and various month end reports as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs month-end
and year-end closing. The accountant responsibilities include reconciling
account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing
month-end close procedures.
- Codes invoices,
sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.

Reconciles bank
accounts, researches all variances, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries
from banks.

Reconciles cash
disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial
accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.

Verifies and/or
completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures
payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.

Provides outside
auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents
to perform annual audit.

Performs general
accounting and other related duties for the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
in accounting or comparable program, preferable.
- Two (2) years’
experience in general accounting.

Detail oriented
with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in
Microsoft Office software programs such as Word and Excel.

Must read, write,
speak, and understand English.

Must be authorized
to work in the USA.

Domestic travel 25-
30%
Physical
Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at
a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10
pounds at times.
