Position Summary: We are looking for a Talent Acquisition
Specialist to join our Human Resources department and champion our
full-cycle recruiting efforts based out of our Pompano Beach, FL office.
Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through
various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or
participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be
able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting
relationships with potential hires.
Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s
current and future hiring needs.
Objectives of this role
- Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified
individuals.
- Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy
in mind.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer
branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
- Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a
positive experience for candidates
- Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear
expectations for candidates and interviewers.
Responsibilities:
- The talent acquisition specialist will be responsible for
determining selection criteria and other vital information about hiring
new employees.
- The specialist should liaise with managers, complete reference
checks, and utilize online application methods such as LinkedIn profile
views. All this ensures only qualified applicants come into play.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine
selection criteria
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social
platforms and professional networks)
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls,
assessments and in-person interviews
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact
details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each
position’s requirements
- Lead employer branding initiatives
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential
candidates Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Two or three years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar
role
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various
interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview
techniques and evaluation methods
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional
networks
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source
candidates
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry
trends
- Ability to work independently, identify problems, find solutions to
problems, interact directly with Customers.
- Effective technical writing skills, strong interpersonal and
communication skills both written and verbally.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen in accordance with ITAR
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or
similar field
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
- Professional credential, such as HR Certification Institute
