Essential Duties and Accountabilities

Quality Team Leader 2

1.     Responsible for assisting with daily production goals and ensuring department production is complete, timely and effective.

2.     Responsible for receiving/inspecting finished goods.

3.     Inspects dimensional, color, pattern match, and craft workmanship of all final production products.

4.     Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

5.     Works closely with the Quality Supervisor to assist and ensure employees follow company policies and health and safety guidelines.

6.     Interprets specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties.

7.     Knowledgeable in all areas of the QA Department including, but not limited to: Receiving/Incoming, cutting (Spreading, Layup, Area of Coverage), In Process Inspection (Ballistic In-Line, Ballistic After Tacking, Ballistic Insert, Ballistic Panel Final, Carrier/Yoke Inspection), and the Final Audit Process.

8.     Backup person when the supervisor is absent.

9.     Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.

10.  Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.

11.  Maintains a safe and clean work area.

12. Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel. 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

§  Requires sitting or standing for a prolonged period of time.

§  Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

§  Drive pallet jack to distribute the work based on the priorities.

§  Requires repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrist, and arms and requires good vision, arm-hand steadiness, and manual dexterity.
