PBE - Data Entry Level 1 (Cutting)

The Data Entry Level 1 is responsible for reviewing and inputting all receiving orders from Cutting into the system and other cutting duties.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities


Data Entry Level 1:

1.     Receives cut tickets and work orders from cutting for all outershells and enters information in cutting production log which includes cut ticket, WOF#, Qty, table cut, date cut into the system and aggregation color.

2.     Verifies for non-ballistic orders that each fabric is cut by mini maps. If complete, the order will be placed in completed bin for sorting departments. If item is missing data entry personnel will alert supervisor and place order on hold until the missing parts are cut to complete order. Only then will the order be placed in completed bin for sorting department.

3.     Laser cut orders must be delivered to laser cutter by making copies of mini maps. Order will be held until laser cutting for order is completed and verified as complete.

4.     Identifies by generating labels for all completed cutwork ready for sorting department.

5.     Requests office materials such as paper, pen, and sharpies used by cutting department.

6.     Monitors emails for rush orders. If such an order is received data entry will alert the supervisor of the order. Once the order is complete the rush order will be top priority to verify order is correct and complete. Then, hand deliver to sorting department.

7.     Responsible for working according to the company‚Äôs safety and quality standards.

8.     Maintains a safe and clean work area.

9.     Sends end of day production daily summary to management of cutting activities such as qty by aggregation color of ballistics, outer shell, and other cut components

10. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


  • High School diploma or its equivalent, preferred but not required.
  • Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Requires standing for a prolonged period of time.
  • Requires moving from place to place within the production and warehouse areas with some reaching above or below desk level.
  • Requires handling files, stacks of paper, references and other materials with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.
